2008 went by in a whirl. It's bittersweet, seeing the year disappear just like that. It's time to leave whatever happened in the past but to retain the memories that came with it. And to make new ones next year. Another year to have fun and party. Another year to make better decisions. Haha. I don't think you know what I'm talking about but, never mind. I'll keep it to myself.

So let me recall what happened in 2008...

January - The time I knew the Pisay results. And from that day on, Ignatius was on emo mode. Haha.

February - hmmm... Birthday of Nadine. But I didn't go, because there was still some kind of conflict between me and a friend that time. But it was all fine after her birthday. We're friends now.

March - The farewell party! Awww. We were having fun that time. There was also lechon! :D We made fun of that. It was so tortured. Haha. And the grad party! Our dance was really funny. Much like oldies style. But it was still fun. Wee. James' birthday! Fun, fun, fun. And the overnight at Kat's. So much fun. I remembered the lipstick thing. Haha.

April - Graduation! Aww. I miss those guys hella lot. My birthday. And the arrival of my cousins. That was the time I got addicted to Guitar Hero. :) Lots and lots of beach trips. And it was the first time to take a try at having bangs. It sort of hard to maintain them but I like it.

May - My tito's wedding. Enrollment at Pisay. Freshmen field day. I still didn't know a lot of people then.

June - Back to school. It's somewhat weird since I'm at a new school. I met new friends. My voice was already hoarse by the third day! Haha. It was unusual for that to happen in my previous years. I wasn't really comfortable at Pearl then but it was a good thing that I was part of Pearl. A very good thing. :)

July - Hmmm... started to get close to my classmates. We're a very noisy class. Haha. I don't know what else happened. I'm kind of forgetful. Haha.

August - Ella's birthday, Bea's birthday. It was a blast. And the first time I experienced to seriously cram for the exams. :D Gossip Girl Season 2! Back to Chuck Bass' and Blair Waldorf's crazy but very kilig antics. And Nate Archibald's hotness. Oh, Chace Crawford! :))

September - Christine's birthday. It was the first time I revealed about the thing. Haha. It all happened in Pizza Hut. It was because of Mariel! Haha. And the time my aunt announced that we're going to have a new cousin! Wee! :)

October - My first time to experience the Sci Camp. It was a lot of fun! Best scicamp so far. Met new friends. Was very exhausted the day after that. Go Modra Cygnus! :) And the time that Pearl's class funds were lost. Case still isn't closed. But we don't bother it much already.

November - Sembreak! or more like an alternative class. Haha. So many assignments during the break. And the first time I had braces. I was still adjusting to it but I'm already used now. INTRAMS! Woo. The best intrams i had. I loved my frequent mudslides during the volleyball game. Haha. I was so down and dirty. :P Everyone was so hyper and everything even though we only won 4th place overall. Atleast we're not 5th place! Haha. The cheerdance was also fun. And the stepdance and the double dutch.

December - TWILIGHT MOVIE! :)) i really, really love. Wee. It was really nice. :) We watched it after the field trip. Oh, the field trip too. It was fun. I thought my parents were going to get mad at me for staying late at the mall but then they didn't. :D Quarantine! It was scary. Super. It did not haunt me though. So I'm okay. :D Hmmm... what else? THE CHRISTMAS PARTY! how could I not forget? It was very fun. We all dressed up in reverse gender. It was funny to look at them guys dressing as girls. Haha. And the eggplant game. It was too funny to watch. :D And the gifts! Wee. The gifts. The bear. Aww. Heehee. :)

So, that was a rundown of my year. I forgot the other things that happened during the months so if you remember something, please tell me. :)

I also had a lot of changes during the year. My hair was really long when I was still in grade 6. It was straight and neat too. Haha. Now, it's short and very messy - with bangs - and i like it. :D My writing style has also changed. I remembered the days when I wUd tYp LyK d1$, and I can't believe I used to be like that. :P My addiction for magazines dropped. And I read more books now. I recently got hooked on the Twilight series. And I realized I should've read it a long time ago. My friends have been asking me to read it, but I had no time and I wasn't in the mood yet. It was just now that I had, and I realized that it is cool after I watched the movie. My eating habits changed too. I'm gaining weight - and not liking it - but who could resist? Food's good! :)) And I stay late longer than I used to. It was only when I was sleepy or my mom would ask me to sleep already that I would log off. I socialize more now. But I still get pretty withdrawn when I'm in a group where I am not really used to being with. I still don't write well. I still don't use those complex words like "obstinate" or something like that. I still love to write though. It's not really my passion. It's more like a hobby. :) I gained more friends. I've moved on from what I consider my "hell season". I was still too childish then, not ready to forget about it. I've found a new love -or something like that. :D We're still friends -and nothing more. I still keep in touch with my best friends from grade school. I thought I'd miss them more than I do now. But life's been great even though they aren't always with me. We still communicate. We even plan to see each other soon. I'm still very chatty and talkative. I've always been. Haha! I think that's one quality of mine that you won't be missing. It's always there and it will always be like that. The hell I care when I see "very noisy and talkative" on the Teacher's Remarks part of my report card. I'm used to it already. Heehee. I still want to become a doctor. And a vampire. Haha. The world should need a dose of Edward Cullen. Deym. I really am hooked. :D Meloveyou. Haha. So much for those changes.

Acknowledgements? I'd like to thank my family for always being there for me. There was never a fight that can not be resolved between us. I couldn't even recall a fight that would last for two days. All of them are actually resolved by the end of the day. Aww. I love you and I could not ask for more. I'd like a raise in my allowance though, if that were possible. Haha! :)

Thank you to all of my friends, acquaintances, peers, and the community. Whatever the friend pyramid says so in VE class. :D Especially the Ignatians and Pearlies. To the Ignatians, I applaud you for the strong bond that we still share, even though we aren't together as a class anymore. And as always, "laag ta!" Hehe. To the Pearlies, thank you so much for the fun times that we shared. If we weren't a noisy class, what are we then? Haha. We will not be Pearl. :) Even though the teacher already walked out, or started one long sermon, we still are smiling after. Yeah, we're kind of weird. :D But that's what keeps us going. Go Pearl! I love you guys. :)

Thank you to Ella, because after all these years, you're still there. And you still keep on taking me to the loony times that we always have. :) Thank you to Cherry, because I never met someone whose voice is louder than a boombox. Haha! Thanks for all the laags that we have made. :D Thanks to Mariel, because she's Mariel! I couldn't describe her in words because she's just amazing and funny. :) Thank you to Dada, because she's very crazy and she always teases me. Haha. Thank you Pat, Clement, Dingy, Arthur, Bongar, Fernan, Miko, Carla, Kaye, Von, Mench, Bugs and Dale. Because Dale is going to give me cash! Haha. And because you're fun to be with. And there are never dull moments with you. Bongar: Sinong mga nanay niyo?! Hahaha.

I want to go to the mall with you na. :D Thank you to Tur, my Gossip Girl-Candymag-Twilight chever friend. Because I can always share chismis with you. :) Thank you Andie! Okay, I've been saying thank you's a lot already. Haha. I mention it a lot in some of my posts. Haha. Oh, and thank you to the people I have not mentioned above, my online friends and my other friends or acquaintances, thank you to all of you. :)

So, 2008's almost going to come to an end. Too bad fireworks aren't allowed here. But anyway, Davao's somewhat bound to be noisy. I'll have to jump so high so I can get really tall. Haha! Oh I hope I do. :D

i went to a lot of places yesterday.

and it was tiring.

house - pisay - sm - nc - addu - nc - addu - penongs - house.

very, very tiring. haha.

but anyway, it was still fun.

i saw some classmates and some other friends. :)

it was the "Clash of the Nerds" in the afternoon. two bands from the 4th year, two bands from the 3rd year and a band from the 1st year played. our batch's band had the best drummer and the best guitarist. they also placed second. go LaboLeans! hahaha. the band who placed first came from the 4th year. the guitar spinning thingy was amazing! haha. :D

after that, we went to NCCC with Mariel, Man-Man, Cherry and Ella. we watched Quarantine. the movie was really shocking and gory. you should watch it. haha! i shouted a lot. and Cherry already did her "giving out" services as what she promised in her auction paper. so the movie and snackbox was free! yeah! :D this day was tiring but fun.
